PVC (Polyvinylchloride)

PVC, or Polyvinyl Chloride, is probably the most well-known plastic worldwide. For industrial applications, PVC-U and PVC-C are widely used.
PVC- C (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride)
PVC-C exhibits good chemical resistance. It is a strong and dimensionally stable material, with excellent electrical properties. PVC-C is chlorinated, which makes it resistant to higher temperatures compared to PVC-U. The temperature range of PVC-C is 0°C to 80°C. We supply PVC-C components for piping systems that comply with DIN4102 and fall under fire class B1. This means PVC-C is difficult to ignite and self-extinguishing. PVC-C can be both glued and welded.
PVC- U (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride)
PVC-U also offers good chemical resistance like PVC-C. Additionally, PVC-U is strong and dimensionally stable. PVC-U has a temperature range of 0°C to 60°C. We supply PVC-U components for piping systems that comply with DIN4102 and fall under fire class B1. This means PVC-U is difficult to ignite and self-extinguishing. PVC-U can be both glued and welded.
