ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

ABS, Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene. ABS is a thermoplastic and copolymer, thus thermally moldable and weldable due to heat. ABS is characterized by its dimensional stability. Additionally, the material is hard, impact-resistant, and has little tendency to creep.
ABS consists of a combination of three different substances. ABS comprises 5% to 30% 1,3-butadiene, 50% styrene, and the remaining percentage is acrylonitrile. ABS is used in applications related to compressed air refrigeration lines.
Product Range of Profilplast in ABS
Profilplast offers a wide range of components for ABS piping systems. ABS piping systems are widely used in refrigeration and climate control technology. ABS, thanks to its favorable material properties, can be used in a broad temperature range from -50°C to +60°C. ABS piping systems are extensively used in water treatment, food industry, and installation technology.
