PA (Polyamide)

PA, also known as Polyamide or Nylon, is a versatile plastic often used to replace metal parts. PA is frequently referred to as an engineering plastic. This type of plastic is characterized by several interesting material properties. PA is a very tough plastic, known for its good sliding and abrasion resistance, as well as strong sound-dampening capabilities. PA absorbs relatively high amounts of moisture (ranging from approximately 3 to 10%), contributing to the material’s softness.
