Innovation – Pipes and fittings for the transport of solid materials

Profilplast PE 100 AP

When hydraulically transporting solid materials such as sand, stone, coal, sludge ore, or granulate through pipes, the inside of the pipe is subjected to heavy mechanical stress. The excellent wear resistance, the abrasion and impact protection layer on the inside, and the longer operational lifespan make the PE 100 AP pipe a high-quality alternative to conventional metals.

Long-lasting excellent wear resistance

The PE 100 AP pipes and corresponding fittings are equipped with a specially developed impact and abrasion protection layer on the inside. This makes these pipes extremely suitable for the hydraulic transport of solid materials such as sand, stone, coal, sludge, ore, or granulate, which heavily stress the inside of the pipe.

The PE 100 AP pipes and fittings can be produced in various designs. This makes them suitable for a wide range of applications within the food, cosmetics, and chemical process industries.

  • Significantly increased lifespan
  • Strong adhesion of the inner layer to the pipe core
  • High corrosion and chemical resistance
  • Easy installation and assembly thanks to the low weight
